Majlis Khuddam-ul-Ahmadiyya Sweden 38th Annual Ijtema

By the grace of Allah Almighty, MKA Sweden held its 38th National Ijtema at the Mahmood mosque in Malmö between 17-19 of June 2022.
The inauguration session began on the evening of Friday the 17th. Malik Hisham Ahmad sahib (Nazim-e-Ala Ijtema) welcomed Khuddam who had convened from all over the country. This session was chaired by respected Agha Yahya Khan sahib (Muballigh incharge Sweden). In his speech, Imam sahib highlighted the importance to Khuddam for being ever ready to defend Islam.
After the inauguration, the academic competitions began.

On the second day of the Ijtema, the sports competitions were held at Lomma playground located some miles outside of Malmö. Team sports included football, volleyball and cricket. Among the individual competitions short and long distance running, relay race and kalai were included.

After the Isha prayer, a Talqeen-e-Amal session was held by Sadr Majlis respected Kashif Mahmood Virk sahib. The topic of the talk was the purpose of life and how to establish a strong relationship with Allah.

On the final day, the remaining academic competitions were held. The final session of the Ijtema began about 1 PM and was chaired by respected Wasim Ahmad Zaffar sahib Amir Jamat Sweden.

Respected Amir sahib spoke about the importance of healthy competition and collaboration among Khuddam. This session was broadcasted LIVE on Youtube (https://youtu.be/Rvjsm1KuUvg).

During the Ijtema, a fundraising campaign was held by the Khidmat-e-Khalq department. In light of the Quranic injunction” Vie with one another in good deeds” (2:149) it was held as a competition between the 5 different Majalis of Sweden. By the grace of Allah Almighty, MKA Sweden collected more than 40,000 Swedish kronor and the most efficient Majlis was that of Luleå.

This year, MKA Sweden published the Swedish translation of a biography of the Promised Messiah (peace be upon him), written by Hadrat Musleh Maud (ra). This book was presented to Khuddam and Atfal attending the Ijtema, alongside the latest issue of MKA Sweden’s magazine Granova.

The department of Sanat wa Tijarat arranged a stall selling refreshments to attendees.

[Alam-e-Inami for Atfal awarded to Majlis Stockholm]

The Alam-e-Inami is awarded each year to the best performing Majlis of Khuddam-ul-Ahmadiyya. This year. It was awarded to Majlis Malmö for Khuddam and Majlis Stockholm for Atfal.

The total attendance of the Ijtema was 156 Khuddam, 55 Atfal and 18 guests.
